SUPPLEMENTAL ERAS APPLICATION
The Supplemental ERAS application was piloted in the 2022 residency match cycle. With an increasing number of specialties and programs participating, it is important to understand how to approach completing this addition to the traditional ERAS application as you navigate a competitive residency match environment. As the timeline for the 2023 cycle continues, it is important to adhere to important ERAS and NRMP deadlines and approach the residency application process wisely.
Posted today on LinkedIn and Facebook was the following reminder!
Good morning and a friendly reminder :)
As you know, for participating specialties and programs, the Supplemental ERAS Application is due tomorrow (September 16, 2022) at 5 PM ET (EASTERN TIME). Please note that if you participate in the NRMP SOAP process, this is your only opportunity now to submit a Supplemental ERAS Application (there is no option to do so after September 16, 2022). Hence, I would recommend reviewing participating specialties to determine if you should complete a Supplemental Application, even if it is not your primary specialty of choice.
Questions? Feel free to reach out to me :). I would love to work with you through the remainder of your application/interview (e.g. preparation and mock interview)/Rank Order List/LOIs/NRMP [or other] Match(es)/SOAP processes. Please visit medstudentcoach.com for more info!
Best wishes to both applicants and residency program directors for a successful 2023 match cycle,
Sincerely,
