Welcome to MedStudentCoach!

As the Founder of MedStudentCoach LLC (MSCLLC), I guide and support premedical students (high school/college/postgraduate), medical students, and residents in their journey to and through medical school into the practice of medicine with a focus on promoting wellness during the process.

As a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine with training in Internal Medicine from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, I transitioned from medical practice to pursue my passion for medical education. Based upon my 18 years of experience (and counting!) in medical education, my current roles teaching and interviewing as an Associate Clinical Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine (CUSOM) (MD school), and my prior role as the ATSU-SOMA (DO school) Assistant Dean of Student Achievement and Admissions Committee Member, I have advised and supported medical students from admissions to their transition from medical school into residency. I have had a 99+% residency match/placement success rate for osteopathic medical students when serving as the Assistant Dean responsible for medical student academic support, career guidance, and residency matching. I currently serve as a member of the AAMC Next Step 1 Work Group, provide mentorship through MiMentor, and am an active member of the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Physicians.

At MSCLLC, I work with high school, college, postgraduate students, residents, and practicing physicians to assist with medical school admissions, residency competitiveness and match planning, and overall career success! I offer experienced guidance to optimize successful outcomes by establishing a supportive Coach-Coachee relationship. Understanding what it takes to succeed in medical school and beyond, my goal is to help others navigate the process by providing authentic guidance. I hope to make the pathway into medicine less stressful (and more joyful) for you. My clients have experienced success with admissions to many highly competitive combined (BS/BA-MD/DO) programs, medical schools, PA schools, dental schools, and residency programs.
