"Dr. Vora was an instrumental part of my success during medical school and beyond. In addition to her excellent teaching skills, she has been a constant source of intellectual and professional support and mentorship.  Dr. Vora has a unique and seemingless effortless ability to connect medical students and trainees with people and opportunities that match their interests and goals. In spite of her  immense administrative and teaching responsibilities in a large medical school, Dr. Vora was always available as I navigated medical school and the challenge of choosing a medical specialty. This became particularly important within the unique framework of my medical school training program, wherein much of the learning takes place in the clinical setting often states away from the main campus for years. Dr. Vora's ongoing mentorship was a lifeline during those challenging years, giving me several opportunities to advance my academic success and ultimately guiding me to a specialty that is the perfect fit. While I have no doubt she served as a mentor to many, having Dr. Vora "in my court" imparted a unique strength and joy to my medical school journey. Dr. Vora's knowledge and kind, commanding presence is an ongoing source of inspiration and strength in my life and my profession. As a happy, successful physician, I wholeheartedly suggest that any medical student and trainee take advantage of the opportunity to work with Dr. Vora."
